International marketing and public relations professional Katherine Hills turned her sights to screenwriting and independent film production in 2000. Completing the University of California Irvine Screenwriting program in 2002, Katherine has written two anti-hero thrillers, one in collaboration with PCH co-founder Candice Levenson Heslov, and a romantic comedy that follows one thirty-something woman’s quest for love in all the wrong places.

A marketing executive who has conducted business in over 40 countries, Katherine brings an extensive understanding of both domestic and foreign markets to PCH Filmworks. Katherine headed the marketing and public relations efforts for the world premiere of PCH-partner Heslov's Par 6 at the Newport Beach Film Festival. The successful marketing and press campaign resulted in a standing-room-only screening and post-premiere party, attended by Hollywood executives and actors, media representatives, high profile Orange County business-people and festival executives. Par 6 was voted runner-up of the Festival's Audience Choice Award.

"The List" is a romantic comedy that follows a successful 30-something woman who's about to give up on ever finding true love until she receives a mysterious list of ten thing to do to meet a man. With a less-than-subtle push from her trusted gay colleague, best friend and confidant, she reluctantly gives the list a try. Though the list ends up working for everyone except her, her entertaining failures lead her to the realization that sometimes you have to see what's out there in order to see what's right in front of you.
